The color and detail is truly amazing in every aspect. The depth is equally beautiful, the kind of piece that has a "real" looking background. The intimate showing of differing movement in the butterflies' wings give the "photograph" feel while the use of blue and white makes the whole thing seem to glitter. There are so many details that my head is spinning, from the lace on her stockings to her necklace and the very lily pad she is sitting on. My particular favorite though, is the far right corner lily pad and the many ripples in the water. The clouds are beautiful and very realistic. An all together colorful and happy piece.
